LVM to recognize the DRBD

  • using clustered locking
  • in /etc/lvm/lvm.conf:
locking_type = 3
  • (default is)

   # Type 4 uses read-only locking which forbids any operations that might
   # change metadata.

  • allowing LVM scans for PV signatures.
